Natalie is one of our senior physiotherapists in the team at Kinetics. She has many years of clinical experience working in private practice on the North Shore in Auckland.
Natalie has a Masters degree with a special interest in knee injuries, completing her thesis at AUT University in 2018. Natalie’s thesis was titled ‘Muscle endurance performance of quadriceps and hamstrings, and functional ability before and after arthroscopic meniscal surgery: a case-controlled inter-limb comparison’, and was awarded first class honours. Because of this work, a close working relationship has been developed and maintained with many orthopaedic surgeons and specialists in this area.
Natalie is an important member of our Senior Leadership Team at Kinetics that meet weekly to help support all staff in our mentoring and new graduate programmes.
In addition to this, Natalie has vast experience working as a sports physiotherapist over her career. This has included work in Athletics, Rugby, Netball, and Waterpolo. Natalie enjoys the balance in work between the usual clinical injuries she sees and sports physiotherapy work that she provides. She has a strong exercise prescription background and is passionate about injury prevention and helping people get back to their movement goals. Personally, Natalie loves to move, and you will often find her working out in the gym herself, running, or playing golf.
